I love cross stitching ornaments for the tree and I make a new one each year.

I really enjoy Christmas Crafting, this year my tree has lots of decorations I've knitted and crocheted, I think they are so much nicer and personal too.

Happy Christmas x

Every year my crafty colleagues and I make handmade gifts for each other instead of the typical work 'Secret Santa'. Not only do we have fun making them but we have the pleasure of opening unique presents, that we can appreciate and treasure for years to come.

I love making my own Christmas decorations. Kirsty's programme is a delight to watch, she is just so enthusiastic!

Probably my favourite book is one my mother gave me as a child on Christmas craft. Must go and get it out!

What a brilliant book to read, as a crafter you can never have too many craft books, it's always good to find new crafts to do.

Really pleased with the chutneys I have made this year, what is great is a couple of evenings labour and you have a variety of chutneys to make into hampers, teachers thank you gifts etc..

I have loved the Christmas craft shows on tv this Christmas - I've got lots of ideas for next year and would love a new craft book for my collection!

I've made lots of homemade crafting things for gifts this year. It's been quite calming in the chaos. Will start earlier next year... She says.
Hopefully my sewing skills will improve through the year too.
Merry Christmas to you Wendy and all who join in on the link ups.

This year I've tried to have all my Christmas presents handmade either by myself or by friends including jewellery, pottery and lavendar pillows (my first sewing machine project). I also made my Christmas cards for the first time in years so I'm definitely feeling the crafty Christmas!

Christmas is a great time to get everyone crafting. Our tree is smothered with all sorts of things the kids have made over the last 19 year (and each and every one gets repaired if necessary and them put up again every year) We also have a shocking lovely toilet roll tube people nativity that was made 15 years ago that we all love!
It's also a lovely time to think about trying something new in the new year.
