I want to wish a very merry Christmas to all my customers and blog readers...
hopefully most of your preparations are complete now, and all that's left is for you to enjoy yourselves.
I'm off to peel the potatoes and maybe make a start on the other vegetables for tomorrow. There will be 12 of us around the table, which will be a bit of a squash (and extra chairs are being shipped in from my daughter's house) but I'm sure it will be fun too. The youngest guest is almost three and the oldest is 86 - four generations will be elbowing each other for the cranberry sauce and stuffing!

adorable card Wendy! Merry Christmas to you too!
Merry Christmas Wendy - I'm just taking a break from preparations and doesn't matter what I do to 'get ahead' it'll be panic and chaos in the kitchen tomorrow morning!
Thanks Laura!
Lyn, I'm glad it's not just my kitchen where chaos and panic reign supreme! The oven isn't big enough, there aren't enough pans and definitely not enough worktop or fridge space!!
I hope you had a wonderful couple of days. Best wishes for the coming New Year.

Merry Christmas! We had lunch at relative's yesterday so I didn't have to cook. But I missed the perilous game of 'will I burn myself from the roast potatoes' and I wanted to cook the whole thing myself so I just did another Christmas dinner today. Am I bonkers? Of course. But it was so much fun. Happy New Year!
All the best for you and yours for this festive season and a Happy New (Creative) Year!
