Hello and welcome to another Handmade Monday!
This week I've been concentrating on getting everything together for Handmade Harbour's brand new and first-ever design team - I'll be introducing the new team on Wednesday if all goes to plan! I'm rather excited - some of these ladies have already come up with some lovely inspiring makes from Handmade Harbour digi stamps!
In other news, I completed the sponged Christmas tree project for Craftseller magazine - the finished items (three of them with the same Christmas tree design) are for the kitchen
and I rather like the result but I can't do a big reveal as that's the magazine's privilege, of course. So I'm sorry but for now all I can offer is a sneak peek...
The plain linen I used came from Guthrie and Ghani (ordered on a Friday at 3.30pm, arrived next morning at 10am!) and if you have a very good memory you may remember I interviewed Lauren when she was first setting up her fabric shop. She now has a bricks-and-mortar shop as well as her online shop, but she is also well-known for starring in BBC TV's Great British Sewing Bee. Remember the lovely young blonde Scottish girl who was runner-up? That's the lovely Lauren. You can pop over online to Lauren's blog and shop anytime. Tell her I sent you!
Anyway, how's your week been? To share what you've been making or doing...

Ohhh a Handmade Harbour design team sounds very exciting!! Looking forward to seeing your Christmas makes when Craft Seller hits the shops - I've been working on a Christmas make & DIY instructions for a magazine today too - the deadline is tomorrow, so nothing like leaving it till the last minute! Have a good week, Simmi x
Oh wow! A design team, that does sound exciting! It must be so fun to see the ideas people come up with for using your lovely stamps.
The red and blue trees look fab on that gorgeous linen. I remember Lauren from the sewing bee, i'll need to pop along to her blog and shop for a nosey :) x
Love those trees! Getting in the Christmas spirit already! Alison x
A design team, now that's proper grownup talk! Love it when a plan comes together.
Sounds very exciting to have your own design team. I can't wait to see your Christmas designs in Craftseller.
Ohh Wendy I can't even think about Christmas yet. I still have all the Indian festivities to get ready for. Look forward to seeing your trees in Craftseller.
Already been distracted off to look at the fabric shop! Love to the look of those organic bamboo cottons.
Looking forward to hearing about your new design team (fingers in ears lalalala with the C word!)
Ooh, love the Christmas trees. I really should be getting on with Christmas designs, but it feels so wrong when the sun is shining!
I agree with everyone else A design team sounds exciting! I like the glimpse of your Xmas tress and look forward to seeing the finished result.
